Whenever the pilot spoke, 'PA ACTIVE' appears on your tv screen as the pilot turns on the intercom.
The problem is, the pilot's voice volume was REALLY LOUD, and almost blows your ears off your head.

So whenever you saw 'PA ACTIVE' you also saw people frantically trying to tear their headsets off
before the pilot spoke a split second later. (which is harder than it sounds, considering you
might be reading/drinking/etc at the time)
